In its mission to enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities, Walton Rehabilitation Health System has grown to include Walton Community Services, Walton Pain and Headache Centers, Walton Options for Independent Living, Walton Foundation for Independence, and Walton Technologies.
Walton has been providing accredited brain injury rehabilitation programs longer than any other provider in Georgia. Walton's location in the heart of downtown Augusta's healthcare community allows collaboration with the Medical College of Georgia, University Health System, the Augusta VA Medical Center, and Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Walton cares for more stroke patients each year than any other rehabilitation hospital in Georgia. Walton received the 2003 Magnolia Award for Excellence in affordable rental housing.
