State of the Art Facilities Dedicated to improving the start-up, growth and survival rates of technology-based companies, the Walton Rehabilitation Technology Center offers both low cost space and a wide-range of development services that they may otherwise be unable to obtain or afford. To be eligible for these benefits, start up firms must have a credible business concept that has substantiated prospects for growth and is ready for implementation.
Office Space
The Walton Rehabilitation Technology Center is a 2,000 square foot facility. The Center includes three 144 square foot office bays and two 90 square foot office bays available for leasing. An additional 700 square feet of common office space includes a reception and administration area and a small conference area. Additional conference rooms, dining facility, classroom space and specialty clinics are available at Walton Rehabilitation Hospital.
Parking
Free parking is provided to the employees, clients and visitors of tenant companies in a surface lot located immediately behind the Center's building. Additional parking is available at nearby Walton Rehabilitation Hospital.
Building Access and Security
The Center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Employees of tenant companies, however, can enter the building 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Walton Security makes regular security checks of all Walton facilities and parking areas, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Conference Rooms and Classrooms
In addition to the conference area located within the incubator, three conference rooms at Walton, with seating capacity from 12 to 20 persons, are available for use by tenant-companies of the Center at no additional cost. Two large classrooms with a seating capacity of 20-50 persons are available at Walton.
Office and Other Equipment
A variety of office machines and other equipment are available for use by tenant companies including copiers and fax machines.
Lunch Room/ Kitchen
Employees of tenant companies have free 24-hour accessibility to the Incubator's lunch room/kitchen. The room includes:

Lease and Rental Rates
In order to accommodate the special needs of start-up and early-stage companies, all lease terms for space within the Incubator are negotiable. When negotiating a lease, Walton Technology staff will carefully analyze the specific needs and requirements of the company. True start-up companies, that is, those who are still in a product research or development stage and who have not yet generated any sales income, may be granted space at a rate that is substantially less than market rates for similar space in the Augusta, Georgia area.
